Chinese dish with broccoli and shrimps in sweet and sour sauce recipe

Preparation time: 10 min

Baking time: 25 min

Total time: 35 min

“Healthy and delicious” is a combination that, even with today’s glut of options, might raise a few eyebrows. Today, we’re trying it with frozen broccoli, prawns and a little accent in the form of a sweet and sour sauce.

Another big myth that gets busted in the making of our tasty dish this time around is the notion that frozen produce is somehow inferior to fresh. In fact, frozen produce tastes just as good as fresh produce and is easier to buy in the shop, better to store at home and will keep longer. Our dish is made with Härmavilja frozen broccoli and Marine shrimps. The accompaniment is a deliciously cooked white rice.

The food takes very little time to prepare, just wait for both the broccoli and the prawns to thaw. All that’s left to do then is to add the ingredients to the pan and stir in the sweet and sour sauce. The rice should be cooked at the same time. When the dish is ready, the sauce can be added cool.
