Chickpea porridge with smoked meat
ingredients
1 can chickpeas sterilized pcs salt, bay leaf 125 g butter pcs milk or chickpea broth
progress
By replacing the potatoes with chickpeas we ultimately get a tasty porridge that can be added to any meat.
Cook the canned chickpeas (or soaked and cooked chickpeas) a little longer so they can be mashed nicely, add the bay leaf and salt. Once cooked, pour off the water, use an immersion blender to puree the mixture, if it is very thick, you can add milk or water from cooking the chickpeas. Add butter to taste, but you don’t have to. For example, cooked smoked meat that is gently browned in a pan with a little oil is suitable for the porridge. Serve with bread. Enjoy.
