Chickpea eintopf with sausage

Soup of boiled chickpeas, peppers, sausage and other ingredients.

Procedure:
1. Rinse the chickpeas and let them swell in water overnight, drain the next day, cover with fresh water and cook to taste, add salt before the end of cooking, then drain
2. In a pot, let the peeled onion, finely chopped, brown in hot oil, add cumin, cleaned peppers cut into smaller pieces, fry, pour the broth of chickpeas (or add water), season with ground black and cayenne pepper and boil for about 10 minutes
3. Fry the sausage cut into slices in melted butter and add it to the soup together with the chickpeas and tomatoes cut into smaller pieces, stir and heat everything together
4. Season the soup with sugar, salt and ground pepper, add finely chopped onion and serve.
