Everyone can prepare this dish. The fat from the thighs is released into the cabbage during cooking and together they make a perfect side dish with, for example, boiled potatoes.
1.
Salt and pepper the chicken breasts on both sides and rub with pressed garlic.

Pile the sauerkraut on the bottom of a roasting pan or casserole dish and place the thighs on top.
3.
Drizzle a little oil over everything, cover and bake at 180°C for about an hour. Then bake uncovered for about 30 minutes more.
