Chestnut Soup

Soup of roasted and blended chestnuts and other ingredients, served garnished with cubes of toasted rolls or bread.

Ingredients:

Recipe for 4 servings: 1.25 l of meat stock 250 g of chestnuts 1 pk bean leaves 2 pk cloves 1 pc slice of lean ham white bread or roll oil salt

Procedure:

1. Cut the washed chestnuts into a cross shape
2. Sprinkle them with water and roast them for 10-15 minutes in a moderately heated oven
3. Then peel the top and bottom skins
4. Pour the broth over the chestnuts, add salt, ham, spices and cook for 40 minutes
