700 g cherry compote 100 g granulated sugar 50 g butter 15 g solamyl 1 pinch ground cinnamon 50 ml red wine
step
1. Make caramel from the sugar in a pan, add the butter, compote and juice and ground cinnamon. Bring everything to the boil, then thicken with salt and salt dissolved in a little water. Finally, add the wine. 2. This sauce goes well with pancakes or just with vanilla ice cream.
