Cheeseburgers

The cheeseburgers are easy to make and delicious for the whole family. Homemade burgers are also a very healthy and good food to eat with a good conscience.

Ingredients for four burgers

400g-500g ground beef* 2 2 tablespoons onion flour 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon paprika flour 1 egg salt and a pinch of sugar for the real cheddar or Gruyère cheese

For:

4 hamburger patties 2 pickles 2 tablespoons mayonnaise for frying

*If you make burgers with good quality beef, add nothing but salt and pepper. It will make the inside of your burger reddish.

Cut the ground beef in half and slice it crosswise. Mix all the other ingredients into the minced meat mixture except the cheese. Cook the hamburger dough in the oven for 15 minutes. You can then prepare the other ingredients.

Heat the frying pan to a high temperature and bring to the boil.

Form the burger dough into four patties. The mould is an excellent tool to help you line up the patties. Try to get the burgers quite shallow, max 1.5 cm, as they will shrink when fried.

Bake the patties until brown on one side. Cook and place slices of cheese to melt on the baking side. Fry until the steaks are cooked through.

In the meantime, you can toast the steaks in a toaster oven until golden brown.

Add the cheeseburgers to the näin: sämpyläthe cut sides with mayonnaise, the bottom with pickle slices, the steak on top and the lid on top. Serve the cheeseburgers immediately with crispy fries and ketchup.
