Cesnačka with buckwheat also for the little ones

1/2 pk celery 2 pk carrot 1 pk shallot 1 tsp dried garlic 1 tbsp miso paste 3 tbsp peeled buckwheat parsley 2 pk potato 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp dried paprika a little fenugreek pinches turmeric olive oil salt

Those of you who have kids in daycare probably know the interval of their stay during the winter months. Thankfully, our youngest is going through her first season in nursery without antibiotics, but with a hearty helping of tissues, so I often keep her at home. We love the time we have to ourselves the most, especially outdoors and in the kitchen by the pots. I found a really cool miso paste in a store, so I figured I’d make a proper health booster out of it. That’s how baby garlic was created, mild but strong at the same time. According to our paediatrician, it is with the addition of miso paste that it helps to get enough nutrients to beat the virus naturally through food. Also, turmeric is anti-inflammatory and garlic is antiviral.

Cut the onion finely, finely grate the celery on a strip, dice the carrots like potatoes. We can use the ingredients prepared in this way immediately.

Fry the carrots and potatoes on the onion. Add the ground dried paprika and reheat.

Add salt, fenugreek, celery and cover with water. After about 5 minutes since the water is boiling add garlic, parsley and thyme with buckwheat.

Cook until the ingredients are soft. Then add the miso paste and turmeric and stir, bring to a boil and turn off the heat.

That’s it, the simple soup prepared in this way is fragrant and delicious, the garlic is not strong in taste, so our kids didn’t mind. Ours don’t like celery either, so I always disguise it for them finely grated like this in this garlic. They ate it all. Good taste to you too.
