Cauliflower moussaka

Baked minced meat with cauliflower, eggs, onions…..

Ingredients:

Recipe for 4 servings: 600 g of cauliflower 300 g minced meat (pork and beef) 100 g smooth flour 20 g butter 2 dl milk 1 dl of sour cream 4 pieces eggs 2 pcs onions ground pepper oil salt

Procedure:

  • Cook the cleaned cauliflower in salted water until almost tender, remove it, drain.
  • Slice the cauliflower into florets, cut the middle of the cauliflower and the stem into slices, dip in a medium thick batter prepared from 2 eggs, plain flour, milk and fry.
  • Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil, add the minced meat and stir fry. Stir one beaten egg, ground pepper and salt into the cooled meat.
  • Place the cauliflower, minced meat and the top layer of fried cauliflower in a greased baking dish in layers.
  • Whisk one egg with sour cream, pour on the moussaka, sprinkle with butter and bake for about half an hour in a medium heated oven (180 °C).
  • Recommendation:

    Supplement: Boiled potatoes.
