Carrot soup for a sore tummy after a virus

500 g carrots 1 litre water pinches of salt

Our pediatrician put the little one on a diet after a stomach virus. The first thing she was to be given was this carrot soup. And then slowly, in small steps, she started to eat a normal diet (steamed rice, boiled potato, chicken cooked in water…)

Clean the carrots, pour a liter of water and put them to boil for 1,5-2hours. Add the evaporated water and blend until smooth. Serve slowly, in small spoonfuls.
