2 tbsp sunflower oil 1 kg beef 1 pk onion 10 pk carrot 2 tbsp plain flour 1/2 liter dark beer 1 cube beef broth 4 pk potato to taste salt, ground black pepper 3 pk bay leaf 1 sprig fresh thyme
step
1. In a saucepan, fry the finely chopped onion and carrot in hot oil. Add the diced meat, add the flour and stir the mixture. Pour in the beer and the stock in boiling water and cook the goulash over a low heat. 2. 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the diced potatoes to the goulash. Season the stew with salt, pepper, bay leaves and thyme. Cook until tender.
