Carrot, Apple and Flake Breakfast

Do you remember how you used to “eat” your children’s snacks? Or when you enjoyed them as a little kid? Although they are commonly available in stores, you can try a change and prepare your own fruit treat. Our recipe is made with apples, carrots, honey and flakes. You may be wondering why we added flakes as well, as they are not normally added to breakfast cereals. The reason is simple. The snack will be a bit more nutritious because the flakes add extra fiber, manganese and many other beneficial substances. Moreover, their regular consumption can adjust the cholesterol level in the blood. What do you think? Will you try this delicious elixir packed with vitamins and minerals?

Ingredients:

Number of servings: 1 liter 200 g of carrots 3 pcs of apple 3 tbsp

td>flakes 2 tbsp honey appropriate shot glasses with caps

Procedure:

  • Peel and cut the carrots into small rounds, place in a saucepan and cover with water. Slowly cook until soft.
  • When the carrots are soft, throw in the finely chopped apples and 3 tablespoons of flakes. Top up with water so that the apples are almost all under water. Cook for another 15 minutes.
  • After the carrots and apples are cooked, pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Season with honey.

    How to help your body absorb as many vitamins as possible from the snack? Supplement it with some good quality fat, as some vitamins (A, D, E, K) are soluble in fat.
