According to the original Austrian recipe, you can prepare this exquisite sweet dessert.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Beat 2 eggs, 8 egg yolks, 80 g granulated sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy, then gently incorporate flour and baking powder
2. Whip the 8 egg whites and the remaining sugar into snow
3. On a baking sheet lined with baking paper, using a pastry bag, alternately press out strips of dough and snow
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 185 °C for about 20 minutes
5. Cut the baked pastry sheet in half, spread with jam and whipped cream with thickener, cover with the second sheet
6. Sprinkle the dessert with icing sugar and cut into individual slices.
