The cake is suitable for any occasion, originally I made it by mixing the eggs with sugar and adding the other ingredients. I have been making this recipe for approx over 50 years. While talking to my sister who told me that you can also make the bábovka with Golden Cob, so I tried the ratio of ingredients. In the end, this recipe is from that. A clever housewife can make the recipe in 15 minutes.
1.
Separate the egg yolks from the whites, whip the egg whites to make the cream.
2.
In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the icing sugar, progressively add 2 dcl of oil but just stir, add 4 packets of 40g Dr. Oetker Golden Cob mixed with 1/2 to 3/4 as much Dr. Oetker baking powder as you can, and lightly fold in the creamed sugar.
3.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan, add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to the remaining batter, mix and pour into the pan.
4.
Bake for about 35 minutes in an electric oven. Check the bundt pan, not every oven bakes the same.
5.
Cover with chocolate icing and decorate with Dr. Oetker rainbow balls.
