Cabbage steaks: dietary and delicate dinner

1 pk smaller cabbage 4 tbsp olive oil to taste salt, ground black pepper, ground paprika, dried garlic

Perfect vegetarian dish that tastes delicious on its own or with hot pasta or buckwheat.

Remove the top leaves from the cabbage and cut it into slices about two centimetres thick.

Cut out the blobs from the middle slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the cabbage steaks with oil, season with salt and pepper (black pepper, paprika, granulated garlic), flip and repeat the process.

Place the steaks in an oven preheated to 190°C for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and soft and tender in the middle.

We like our cabbage steaks with sour cream, but they are also delicious chopped into pieces and mixed with pasta, buckwheat or couscous.
