Cabbage soup with prunes and chilli

ingredients

400 g sauerkraut 1 pk smoked knee 1 pk onion 1 pinch of ground black pepper 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of ground red paprika 1 pk bay leaf 2 pk chilli pepper 1 handful of prunes 2 cloves of garlic a little oil

Wash the smoked knee and cut the skin on it a little. Put it in a saucepan, cover with water and cook until semi-soft. Add the sauerkraut, prunes, pressed garlic, spices and cook until tender.

Remove the cooked knee from the soup, cut off the skin and cut it into smaller pieces. Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil, sprinkle it with flour and make a light roux. Remove, stir in the ground red pepper, add water and pour the mixture into the cabbage soup.

Finally add finely chopped chillies, pieces of meat, stir and cook for a few more minutes.
