Cabbage soup with pork knee and sausage

1 pk pork knuckle 200 g smoked meat 1 pk sausage 1 pinch salt 1 kg sauerkraut 1 handful dried mushrooms 4 cloves garlic 1 KL whole cumin 1 KL ground black pepper 1 KL ground red pepper 1 pk onion a little oil 1 crucible whipping cream 2 pk carrots

1. Wash the pork knuckle and place it in a large pot. Cover with water, season with salt and cook until almost tender. Add the sauerkraut and water, the whole smoked meat, the sausage, the soaked mushrooms and the peeled garlic cloves. Then add the diced carrots (which may or may not be). 2. Season the cabbage with salt, ground black pepper, ground paprika and caraway seeds. When all the meat is cooked, take it out, cut it into smaller pieces and put it back into the cabbage soup. 3. Finally, add the cream to the soup, let it go through the boil and serve hot.
