Cesto:
250 g plain flour 1 tbsp butter 1 pk egg 1 pinch salt
Filling:
1 pk onion 1 tbsp oil 300 g sauerkraut 1 pk coloured peppers 150 ml cooking cream 1 tbsp breadcrumbs to taste cumin 1 pinch nutmeg to taste salt to taste ground black pepper

1. Make a smooth dough with the flour, cubed butter, salt and egg. Roll it out on a floured board, transfer it to a greased round tin and press it to the edges. 2. Fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan in hot oil, add a little water, sauerkraut, diced coloured peppers, salt, pepper and simmer the mixture over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. 3. Let it cool, add beaten eggs, cream and breadcrumbs. Season the filling with caraway seeds and nutmeg and layer it on the dough. Place the finished cake in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 30 minutes.
