Cabbage omelette

Cabbage makes a great, tasty sweet omelette. The oatmeal omelette is a great starter for a Slavic feast.

Ingredients for four

200g white cabbage 1 clove of garlic 1 onion 1 tbsp butter 1/2 dl apple juice 5 eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp white pepper 1 tsp dried dill

Tip: To make cabbage egg casserole meatier, chop up some yogurt, ham or sausage to add to the cabbage.

Slice the cabbage and onions very thinly. Fry them in a pan with butter and apple juice until soft.

Meanwhile, whisk the eggs in a bowl.

Mix the cabbage mixture as directed and pour the eggs into the pan. Mix well and place on a small pan under a lid.

When the cabbage egg mixture has coagulated, slide it onto a serving plate. Allow to stand for a while and enjoy.
