Breton Beans with Smoked

Cooked beans, sauteed with onions, ketchup and spices, served with slices of smoked meat.

Ingredients:

600 g of smoked pork leg 300 g of white beans 150 g ketchup 50 g red beans 1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1 piece small onion ground pepper water salt

Procedure:

1. Take the beans, rinse them several times in water, put them in cold water overnight to swell, the next day drain them, pour fresh water over them and cook them separately until tender, then drain them and leave them to drain
2. Cook the smoked meat until tender, let it cool slightly and then cut it into slices
3. Fry the peeled, finely chopped onion in hot oil, add the cooked beans, fry briefly, pour in ketchup, season with salt, ground pepper, worcestershire sauce and heat through.
4. Serve with slices of smoked meat and fresh Vegetable Recipes.
