Breakfast Crumbled Toast

Some of us can’t imagine not having a sweet breakfast. But if you’re craving a nutrient-packed meal, you’ll love our jerky toast. The base is wholemeal toasted bread, which is rich in fibre thanks to its grains. For a perfect consistency, you need almost half a litre of milk and a couple of eggs. And what will sweeten your breakfast? First of all, jam and fruit. Choose your ingredients carefully, as their quality will also be reflected in their taste.

Ingredients:

Number of servings: 6 600 g of wholemeal toasted bread 400 g 150 g frozen strawberries 60 g powdered sugar 400 ml milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 4 pcs of egg To serve: 100 ml white yogurt

Procedure:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Cut the toasted bread into cubes, pour the milk over it and add the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Mix the mixture, add the jam or marmalade and garnish with strawberries.
  • Let it sit for 10 minutes and then put it in the oven to bake for about 40 minutes.
  • Serve with white yoghurt.
  • Recommendation:

    Don’t forget that you can also get toasted bread in a wholemeal version. Breads made with whole wheat flour contain soluble fiber, which supports proper digestive function.
