Blue Plate Taco chicken and steak fajitas recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
1 lb. flank steak, cut into thin strips
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 large onion, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
8-10 flour tortillas
Optional toppings: salsa, sour cream, guacamole, cheese
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, steak, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil and toss to coat.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add chicken and steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
3. Remove from skillet and place on a plate. Add onion and peppers to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
4. warm tortillas in the microwave. To assemble, place a few strips of chicken and steak on each tortilla. Top with onions and peppers and your favorite toppings.
