Belarusian borscht
ingredients
500 g smoked ham 400 g beef 300 g beetroot 600 g potatoes 250 g carrots 100 g parsley 100 g onions 20 g tomato puree 200 g lard 30 g sugar to taste vinegar 1 dl cream to taste salt
step
1. Boil the beef and ham. 2. Cook the Vegetable Recipes, onion and puree together with the chopped cooked meat. 3. Put the potatoes into the meat broth and cook. Thicken with the dressing. Boil for about 10-15 min. Season with sugar, vinegar and salt. 4. Add the cooked meat pieces and the sliced beetroot to the boiled borscht. We can add cream on top.
