Beef tips and mashed potatoes recipe for dinner

1 pound beef chuck roast, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
6 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions:

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the beef cubes and onions, and cook until the beef is browned. Add the garlic and cook for one more minute.
