Beef Schnitzel from Horehroní

Roasted slices of meat covered with Vegetable Recipes, smothered with bacon and washed down with white wine.

Ingredients:

600 g of back beef 50 g of bacon 200 ml of water 150 ml white wine 1 teaspoon of dried nettle 2 tablespoons of lard 2 pcs of garlic cloves 1 pcs onions 1 pcs carrots tr>

smooth flour for coating ground pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Clean, rinse, dry, slice the meat into thinner slices, lightly slice them a few times and cut the edges in 4 places, lightly pat, salt, pepper and coat in plain flour (shave off excess flour)
2. Cut the cleaned carrots and peeled onion into rounds, and slice the peeled garlic cloves
3. In a deeper pan, fry the meat slices on both sides in hot lard, remove them, set them aside, then fry the diced bacon in the fat, and then add the meat slices back to the bacon
4. Put the chopped Vegetable Recipes on top of the meat, cover with white wine and water, add chamomile and simmer slowly under a lid until tender
5. Add salt as needed and serve with mashed potatoes.
