Beef ragout from one sheet

800 g beef leg or shoulder carrot parsley 1 pk onion 1 clove garlic 1 handful dried mushrooms 2 tbsp mustard 2 tbsp tomato puree 1 tsp butter salt, black pepper

Wash and chop the meat. You can dice it into cubes or steaks. Clean and chop the Vegetable Recipes.

Place the meat on a baking tray and put the Vegetable Recipes on top and sprinkle with mushrooms. Season lightly with salt.

Fry the onion in a little oil in a frying pan, add the mustard, mustard puree and season with salt and pepper. Stir it all together and cover with water. The amount of water (or stock) depends on how much sauce you want to have. I added less than a litre.

Simmer for a while and pour through a sieve over the prepared meat. Cover with foil and bake at 200 degrees for about 2 hours.

The meat is beautifully juicy and melts on the tongue. It can be served with potatoes, mashed potatoes or even rice. Enjoy.
