Beef pate recipe without liver

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat and remove from heat.
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Slowly add in the chicken broth and cream, stirring until combined.
Add the beef and onions back into the skillet and stir until evenly coated with the sauce. Serve warm.
