Prepare the ingredients.

Wash the meat and cut into smaller pieces. Sprinkle them with flour.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped onion.

After a while, add the meat and fry on each side to coat.

Stir in the tomato puree.

Pour in water and simmer until tender.

About half an hour before cooking, add mushrooms, season with salt and ground black pepper.

Serve with tarhona.
