Bean spread

1 can white beans in brine 140 g butter 60 g soft cheese 1 tbsp mustard salt chives

If you prepare this spread in the evening, it will be excellent for breakfast.

This spread is very quickly made if you use canned beans. Just drain it, add butter, cheese, chopped onion, mustard and mix everything together. At the end, just taste and season with salt and pepper if necessary.

You can also prepare the spread from dry beans which you cook until soft. The preparation will of course take longer.

The spread is delicious with baguette or dry toast. It is suitable not only for breakfast or a snack but also as a quick treat for an unexpected visitor.
