1500 g white beans 500 g groats 200 g bacon 100 g onion 100 g lard to taste salt

1. Put the soaked beans on to boil, season with salt and bring to the boil. 2. Stew the grits separately with the addition of lard and add to the beans. 3. Fry the onion on the chopped bacon and pour it over the finished seasoned soup.
