150 g basil leaves 2 cloves garlic 50 g pine nuts 3 tbsp olive oil (for mixing) to taste salt to taste black pepper ground to taste lemon juice (for preserving) 50 g g grated Parmesan olive oil (for coating the surface )

Basil pesto is quick and easy to make at home.

Mix the nuts and garlic together, progressively add the basil leaves, salt, pepper, oil and a little lemon juice. Blend briefly and coarsely so that the basil does not turn bitter.

Finally, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and strain the pesto into a smaller glass resealable bottle.
3.
Cover the top with oil and immediately seal tightly and refrigerate.
