Baked sweet dumpling with nuts

500 g dumplings 500 ml milk 2 pcs egg 1 packet vanilla sugar 200 g spelt plain flour 1 pinch salt jam 2 handfuls ground walnuts

Super recipe if you have leftover dumplings from lunch.
1.
First, make the pancake batter.
Slice the dumplings.

Wrap them in the batter and fry them in the pan on both sides.
4.
Slather each slice generously with jam and place side by side in a baking dish.
5.
Sprinkle the top with the ground nuts and if the batter rises, pour it over the top of the dumplings.
6.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approximately 20 minutes (until the top of the dumplings are crispy).
7.
Serve warm. Enjoy!
