Baked meatballs

Often served with fries or in sauce, meatballs are one of the most popular dishes. But have you ever tried to make meatballs in the oven? If you have never done so for fear that they will be too dry, with our recipe you will get a succulent result! These meatballs are classic, enriched with sausage and cheese, baked in the oven, thanks to the addition of broth, the meatballs will be tender and juicy.

Ingredients:

400 g ground beef 200 g sausage 1 clove garlic 100 g stale bread 150 ml meat broth 40 g grated Parmesan cheese 2 eggs 2 tablespoons olive oil Parsley Salt and pepper

Preparation:

To prepare the meatballs in the oven, first put the stale breadcrumbs in a bowl. Add the water until it is covered and let it soak for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and parsley. Cut the sausages, and remove the casings. Then put the sausage mixture in a bowl, crumbling it with your hands.

In the same bowl add the ground meat, the well wrung out crumb and the eggs.
Add the previously chopped garlic and parsley, and mix it all together with your hands.

Season with salt and pepper and knead again until smooth, this should take at least 5 minutes.

Cover with a plate and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. After the resting time, you can form the meatballs. Arrange the meatballs on a platter.

Grease an ovenproof dish and arrange the meatballs on it, then pour the warm broth on top.

Bake the meatballs in a preheated 180° oven for 15 minutes, then take them out and flip them.

Bake for another 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and serve your meatballs hot with the cooking sauce.
