Baked cabbage with potatoes and smoked

This recipe belongs to the traditional potato dishes of Czech cuisine. Boiled potatoes are baked together with smoked meat and sauerkraut.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Wash the potatoes, put them in salted water and boil them almost tender, peel them when cooled and cut them into slices
2. Line a baking tray or baking sheet with a higher rim with bacon slices and cover with half of the potatoes
3. Sprinkle salt and cabbage on top of the potatoes, sprinkle with juniper
4. On top of the cabbage, spread the sliced or sliced smoked meat and cover everything with the remaining potatoes, salt the surface, pour melted lard over it
5. Bake in a 200 °C oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown and the cabbage is soft
6. Remove from the oven, let cool for a while and then serve.
Recommendation:
After a short baking time, you can top the dish with whipping cream.
