Cooked buckwheat baked in the oven together with smoked meat, bacon, porcini mushrooms, onion and garlic, mixture seasoned with spices.
Ingredients:

pohanky – groats (not lamanky)
300 g
smoked meat
120 g
fresh or frozen sliced porcini mushrooms
100 g
of pepper
4-5 pcs
of garlic cloves
3-4 pcs
of allspice
1 pcs
of large onion
1 tsp
of marjoram
1 tsp
of crushed cumin
a pat of butter to prepare the buckwheat
lard to grease the baking dish

Procedure:
First, prepare the buckwheat; take the buckwheat, rinse it and pour it into a thick bottomed pot, cover it with water so that the liquid is about 1 cm above the buckwheat, add 3-4 balls of allspice, salt and bring to a boil under a lid, then turn the heat source down to minimum, once the liquid has soaked in, take the dish off the heat, add a slice of butter and let the buckwheat finish, covered
.In a little oil or lard fry the onion, smoked meat, bacon cubes and finally add the crushed garlic, sliced mushrooms and marjoram, slightly covered with water simmer everything for a while
Put the cooked buckwheat in a bowl, add the mixture from the pan and season with salt and a little pepper if necessary, mix everything well and transfer to a greased baking dish
Bake at about 200 °C (180 °C hot air) for 15-20 minutes until the surface is firm and beautifully golden.
