Bacon nests stuffed with egg and cheese
Last Updated on
Flats of English bacon rolled into muffin tins, baked in the oven, preferably under the grill, filled with eggs, sprinkled with cheese.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Grease the bottom of the muffin tin, line the sides with bacon slices
2. Place one egg in each nest
3. Salt the eggs, sprinkle with ground red pepper and, if you like, pepper, sprinkle the surface generously with grated cheese
4. Bake in an oven heated to 200 °C, preferably with the grill on, for 10-15 minutes
5.
Recommendation:
Bake the eggs for as long as you want the egg yolk to be ready, short if you want it so called. If you like it soft, a little longer if you like it completely set.
