Bacon Kofty

Skewers made from a ground mixture of bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, celery seed and other ingredients, grilled until golden brown. Recipe from India.

Ingredients:

260 g of bacon slices

5 tablespoons whole wheat breadcrumbs 3 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 pc

td>celery sprigs 1 pc small onion

1 pc eggs ground pepper olive oil for rubbing salt

Procedure:

1. Put the bacon chopped into smaller pieces, peeled coarsely chopped onion, coarsely chopped celery seed, breadcrumbs into a food processor and blend until fine
2. Add the finely chopped thyme, Worcestershire sauce, ground pepper, salt and combine into a firm mixture using the beaten egg
3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and use your hands to shape them into 8 bamboo skewers
4. Then, turning occasionally and brushing with olive oil, grill the kofti on a medium-hot grill for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown
