Asparagus with Slovak rice

1 packet green asparagus 250 g Slovak rice 100 g English bacon 3 cloves garlic pcs chilli powder or fresh 1 tbsp oil 1 butter pcs curry pepper 6 tbsp asparagus broth 2 tbsp Pecorino or other hard cheese

This is a really good light lunch or dinner.

I cut the thick ends off the asparagus, put them to boil in salted water for 6 min. I didn’t pour out the water, I put Slovak rice in the same water to cook for 6 min. I take out the asparagus and let it cool. Drain the Slovak rice.

I cut the bacon strips into strips, put a little oil in the pan and fried the bacon in it until crispy and took it out on a plate.

I put chopped garlic and chilli in the pan, I need to be careful not to burn it.

I added bacon and chopped asparagus.

Then cooked pasta, some pasta water, curry spices, butter and grated cheese.

Mix everything together and don’t cook anymore. Enjoy.
