500 g plain flour 1/2 packet baking powder 120 g butter 100 g powdered sugar 2 pcs egg

1 kg apples (peeled and sliced) 200 g caster sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tbsp domestic um

1.
Sieve the flour and baking powder onto a board.

Add the butter, sugar eggs and knead the dough.
3.
Sprinkle the chopped and peeled apples with sugar and cook until soft. Sprinkle the smothered apples with ground cinnamon, add the Domestic Um and stir. Let cool.

Divide the prepared dough into 2 parts.

Roll out 1 part on a floured board, place on a baking sheet, spread with apple filling and cover with the other rolled out part.
6.
Prick the top with a fork, brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven.
7.
Cut the baked and cooled cakes and sprinkle with icing sugar.
