Alhambra beers, flavors that top chefs and sommeliers fall in love with

The jury of the Superior Taste Awards, composed of more than 200 chefs and sommeliers from around the world, has recognized two varieties of Cervezas Alhambra with the highest award of the International Taste Institute. These are Alhambra Lager Singular, the proposal for the day to day of Cervezas Alhambra, and Alhambra Reserva 1925, which have shown that the time and dedication that Cervezas Alhambra puts into them results in a unique flavor capable of conquering the most demanding palates.
Two beers that have won the hearts of the prestigious jury in charge of evaluating and scoring the products in this edition. The jury was made up of professionals with great experience in the world of gastronomy, such as Michelin-starred chef Ramón Roteta Sagarzazu, Vice President and Spanish Ambassador of Euro-Toques; the also chef Koldo Royo Coloma, President of ASCAIB and Vice President of the Spanish Cooking Team, or the sommeliers Ferrán Centelles Santana, National Gastronomy Award; and Julie Dupouy, best sommelier in Ireland in 2018 and third best sommelier in the world in 2016.
As a member of the Institute’s sommelier jury, Manuel Jiménez, best sommelier in Spain in 2017, highlighted the recently presented Alhambra Lager Singular for its “soft fruity notes and yeast reflections with a floral touch that intensifies in the mouth”. As for Alhambra Reserva 1925, Jiménez emphasizes the “floral and fresh hop aromas, which give way to fruity notes and delicate toast and caramel from the malt”.
Both varieties have obtained three gold stars in the contest, the highest rating awarded by this prestigious jury. The Superior Taste Awards are prestigious awards given by the International Taste Institute located in Brussels (Belgium) to those foods and beverages that demonstrate superior taste. It is one of the most relevant international awards, known as the Michelin Guide for food and beverages.
