Åland pancake
Last Updated on
The Åland pancake is topped with a nice side of semolina porridge, and is therefore a delicious and tasty snack. Cardamom and vanilla sugar add flavour to the semolina.
Ingredients for four
3 dl semolina 2 tbsp butter 2 eggs 1.5 dl wheat flour 1/2 tsp cardamom 1 tsp vanilla sugar 2 tbsp sugar 1 dl milk
Tip: When making semolina, make itä liberally. You can freeze it and put it in a pancake from Åland. You can buy porridge in the shop for my own omelette.
Melt the butter and mix in the cold milk. Whisk in the eggs until well mixed.
Then add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
Spread the dough into an ovenproof dish. A cast iron pan is good, but it needs to be preheated first.
Bake the pancake in a 170C oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with jam.
