Here’s a recipe for preparing turnips that are both tasty and healthy.
Ingredients:
1 lb. turnips, peeled and diced
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, toss diced turnips with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Spread turnips in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring a few times during cooking, until turnips are tender and lightly browned.
Serve turnips as a side dish or add them to salads, soups or stews. They can also be enjoyed as a healthy snack – try them roasted with a little bit of sea salt for a delicious and nutritious treat
