We live in a village, we have lots of apples from our garden. So they are eaten fresh in our house, in the form of quickly cooked compote, baby homemade food, but I also use a lot of them in baking goodies…
1.
Whisk the sugar and whole eggs until foamy.Progressively add sifted flour, ground cinnamon, oil, milk, nuts, finally add grated apples and baking soda. Pour the batter onto a greased and floured baking sheet. Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
2.
Slightly cooled cake spread with jam, I put homemade blackberry jam on half of the cake, the rest I sprinkled with powdered sugar.
3.
Cut the cooled cake and place it on a tray in a checkerboard pattern.
4.
The cake is juicy and will stay fresh for a long time, if you want to serve it festively, drizzle it with chocolate.
