To make lumpy cheese sauce, you’ll need:
1 cup of milk
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/2 pound of grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, flour, salt, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and add the grated cheese. Cook, stirring, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
