Recipe for making the cake donuts

Cake donuts are a delicious and fun treat that you can make at home with just a few ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and egg.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined.
Lightly grease a donut pan with vegetable oil.
Fill the pan 3/4 full with batter. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven, and let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
Serve with your favorite toppings, or enjoy plain!
These cake donuts are best enjoyed fresh, but will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or two. If you want to make ahead, you can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
