Broccoli fritters (not only) with cheese recipe

Ingredients
2 servings 250 g fresh broccoli, grated 80 g Niva cheese or any other cheese we like 80 g English bacon 2 pcs. Eggs 5 tbsp cream or cream 1 clove of garlic optional, 2 – salt to taste ground pepper to taste 4 tbsp plain flour for thickening, if necessary 3 – oil for frying
Recipe preparation steps
1 Grate the broccoli with a coarse grater in a bowl, it does not need to be cooked beforehand, heat treatment by frying is enough. Grate the cheese and garlic in a bowl, add the bacon, eggs, cream, pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything together, add flour as needed and knead into a dough of medium consistency. Using a spoon, shape the patties (like potato pancakes) on a non-stick frying pan with hot oil and fry them on both sides until golden brown. Place the finished fritters on a napkin to drain off any excess fat.

2 Serve with potatoes or mashed potatoes, with vegetable salad or sauce, or as a side dish with mince or meat mixes.

3 If you want to make the patties a meatless dish, do not add bacon or replace with smoked tofu.
