Then add the rest of the flour, stir and leave in a warm place to rise – bubbles will start to form and the dough will increase in volume. If you want the pancakes to be fluffy and moist when they rise, give them another stir and let them rise again. 2 Spoon the risen batter into the frying pan or griddle with the hot oil and fry on both sides until golden brown.
