Chocolate mousse
Last Updated on
The chocolate mousse should be made from two different types of chocolate; dark and milk. A mousse made from dark chocolate alone tastes rather dark.
Ingredients for six
100 g dark chocolate (approx. 70-80 g), with a thickness of 1.5 g.%) 100 g milk chocolate 2 egg yolks 2 egg whites 1 tbsp butter 0.5 dl sugar 2 dl sparkling cream
Tip: You can serve the chocolate mousse with jammy berries, biscuits or chocolate crumbs.
Make a water bath and chop the chocolate. Melt the butter into the chocolate. Separate the yolks from the whites. Remove the chocolate from the heat and whisk in the egg yolks.
Whisk in the egg whites and sugar. In a separate bowl, whip myös cream.
Spoon all ingredients into the chocolate and gently stir to combine. Pour the chocolate mousse into cups, wrap the cups and put them in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.
