Gratinated Brussels sprouts
Last Updated on
Gratinated brussels sprouts are a perfect accompaniment to tender steak. You can add bacon to the brussels sprouts and they’ll look great as they are.
Ingredients for 4
4 handfuls of Brussels sprouts 2 cloves of garlic 1 dl cream 1 dl grated cheese, eg. 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp dry rosemary salt pepper Tip:
If you want a more substantial dish that can be eaten as a meal, fry up some bacon to go with it. Work the Brussels sprouts; cut off the strain and peel off the outermost layers. You can rinse in a colander, but it’s not mandatory. Brussels sprouts do not grow in the ground. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté it in a casserole with olive oil. Toss in my Brussels sprouts, rosemary, salt and pepper; freeze for a moment.
Mix the cheese and cream in a bowl. Pour in the Brussels sprouts, stir and then pour the whole mixture into the baking dish.
Grate the Brussels sprouts in a 200C oven for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool for a while after the oven.
