Artichokes Spanish style

Procedure:
1. Rub the cut surfaces of the cleaned artichokes with lemon juice, put them in boiling salted water to which a few drops of vinegar have been added, and cook for 20 minutes
2. Then let them cool, remove the middle flakes and flower stamens
3. Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil, add the artichokes, vinegar, wine and simmer until the artichokes are almost soft and the liquid has evaporated to about 2 tablespoons
4. Pour the broth over them, add the cleaned, whole garlic clove, ground pepper, bay leaf and simmer under a lid until the artichokes are soft
5. Take them out, dust the juice with flour, steam for about 1 minute, then stir and cook for another 1 minute
6. Remove the garlic and bay leaf and serve immediately.
